Ripl (www.Ripl.com) is passionate about helping small businesses grow by leveraging the magic of social media. Our new Product Manager role (think classic, with a twist or two!) is key to that mission. The focus of the role is on identifying, evaluating, scoping, and then managing the establishment of integration-based software partnerships for Ripl with other tools, online marketplaces, and mobile app providers which focus on domestic and global small businesses. Over time this role will evolve into one that also focuses on developing co-marketing partnerships with national and global technology services, financial services, sales support, and other market sectors with large companies that serve small businesses at scale.
You thrive in a fast paced, high-volume, agile software development environment. You love the thrill of new software delivery and the variety of working on several active projects at once. You love building business relationships as well as using your left brain for analysis. You are an executive-level thinker with a bias for action, and you also love rolling your sleeves up to drive project execution. You find joy in this loop of creation, critical assessment, building, managing and continually evaluating the relationship with your partners. You have a sixth sense to go beyond the obvious wins in business relationships to see the nuances that create fulfilling short- and long-term strategic partnerships. You are technical enough to be able to read 3rd party software and online marketplace API documentation and identify the integration opportunities for our company. You work well in a collaborative environment where everyone is outspoken and the best ideas win regardless of origin.
Within the first 30 days, you will develop a deep understanding of Ripl’s upsell and subscriptions-based business model, and you will identify partner opportunities with intrinsic value to result in a win for our segmented customer bases and a win for partners which result in a win for Ripl.
