Marketing Design Intern at Ripl
Bellevue, WA, US

Ripl invites people with a love of creating beauty to join our expanding team.

Ripl is building the leading marketing platform for very small businesses and community organizations. As a team (about 25 of us, each of us growing, and our numbers growing as well), we are loving, passionate, effective and resilient. We value courage, drive, and integrity.  Our ambition is to be great; to achieve that, we are looking for great people to join our cause.

As a Design Intern, you’ll be using your creativity and design expertise to put yourself in the shoes of a small business owner to create posts for them to share on social media. Using the Ripl app, you’ll create impressive and relevant posts for our customers.

A typical day might include:

  • Scouring the internet for beautiful free stock images
  • Creating eye-catching posts using the Ripl app
  • Collaborating with the team on future design templates
  • Brainstorm with team members to come up with new ideas to make our content and merchandising better
  • Innovating on designs and the ways our customers could create content

This job might be for you if:

You enjoy creating beautiful things. You love taking on challenges and finding creativity with technology. If you don’t like the way something looks, you won’t stop until you’re satisfied.

You love design. You find satisfaction in creating lots of different posts for different businesses.

You pay attention to the details. Colors, fonts, images - you stay focused and everything looks cohesive and eye-catching.

You care deeply about social media. You are an active Instagrammer, belong to several Facebook groups, and/or use Pinterest daily.

You are motivated and driven. You volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked. You’re going to take ownership of the time you spend with us and truly make a difference.

Details: Paid Internship. Minimum of 15 hours per week up to 20 hours.

Duration: Summer (possibly longer)
