A Day in the Life

On any given day, you will be collaborating with team members to develop interfaces and designs that will better serve our customers.  You will be gathering user requirements, designing low and high fidelity prototypes, testing concepts, designing graphic elements and building navigation components for iOS, Android and web app platforms.

You will design and create comps to share your vision with the engineering team.  Clearly designed tap-through prototypes will accurately demonstrate the feature experience. With your keen eye for detail, you will pair with developers to bring you pixel-perfect designs to life.

Working proactively, on multiple projects, you will continually try to identify and troubleshoot UX issues related to usability, functionality and discoverability, and right these with a sense of urgency and good judgment.

You will be inspired by our team, our customers and you, in turn, will inspire with your designs.

Technical and Subject Matter Expertise & Qualifications for this Role

  • Solid knowledge of fundamentals and standards in UX/UI design for mobile apps (some web app experience is a plus) 
  • Excellent UX/UI design skills and a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to design/redesign in mobile
  • Knowledge of design best practices for mobile apps and web, including content-first, mobile first, responsive design, and accessibility standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, or Graphic Design required; a combination of education and experience may substitute
  • Proficiency in Mac OSX, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and G Suite
