The Opportunity
This position is responsible for organizing key football marketing efforts across products, cross functional departments and customer audiences–all tied to a deep knowledge of the sport and the fundamentals required to realize our growth ambitions. In addition, you will collaborate with key players on our marketing team to ensure the team has the resources and attention it needs to be successful. You will play an important role in supporting the company’s sales and marketing strategy to expand VICIS’ brand awareness and our customer base

Responsibilities

    • Generate compelling materials for field sales team and establish feedback loops to optimize messages, materials and programs
    • Own development and distribution of bi-weekly field communications with sales team (PR + Creative Assets)
    • Serve as bridge to product management colleagues on core product truths and go-to-market requirements
    • Partner with marketing leadership on PR strategy, help manage PR agency communications and develop proactive ideas for earned media coverage; participate and shape agenda for biweekly idea sessions with PR agency
    • Collaborate with creative and digital teams on content strategy and develop priorities calendar for core football products–ensuring plans align to business priorities and seasonal needs.
    • Remain on the pulse of football culture at all levels of the game and seek out new ways for VICIS to connect to parents, players and coaches
    • Own project management of select strategic brand partnerships and align internal team members to serve, support and maximize brand value at key milestones
    • Partner with marketing and RDI leadership on special projects and research assignments 

Qualifications

    • 2-4 years relevant experience; marketing, PR and/or brand management preferred
    • Track record of building and maintaining, complex project and program-based workback schedules to achieve key milestones
    • Strong writing + communication skills and project planning combined with speed, flexibility and precision
    • Desire to learn and solve problems with a focus on both the big picture and finer details
    • Manage multiple tasks independently and possess the self-confidence to escalate issues and seek out support
