The Key Account Manager is responsible for account acquisition and sales of VICIS products and accessories within a defined market and geographic area in the U.S. This position requires the ability to interact with multiple contacts and decision makers within High School and Youth football programs.  The Key Account Manager role will require extensive travel to visit current and potential customers within the territory.  Other responsibilities include support of regional and national conferences when required. 


    • Responsible for attainment of territory sales goals
    • Ability to develop and execute a territory call plan, with the goal of creating a regular schedule of meetings with customers, parents, booster clubs, and regional influencers in football
    • Assist with customer follow-up, including post-sale deliveries, team fittings and other support functions as needed
    • Work collaboratively with the inside sales, Elite (Pro and FBS College) team sales and marketing teams
    • Report clearly on activity in territory and sales forecasting
    • Manage regular team calls and prepare weekly reports
    • Prepare and approve monthly expense reports


    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum 3 years outside sales experience with successful sales track record, preferably selling sporting goods or business services/products where activity metrics were measured (calls made, new accounts acquired, etc.) and/or equivalent experience in the equipment management industry
    • Ability to organize, deliver and answer questions on the ZERO1 helmet to coaches, players and parents
    • Ability to manage activity, funnels and forecasting via CRM
    • Ability to travel regularly (60%+)
    • Superior verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient with computers and CRM software, Salesforce preferred
    • Background and involvement in athletics, athletic administration, booster activities, and/or coaching preferred
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a start-up environment
