Account Executive at Blue Matador

Description

Blue Matador is an early stage startup looking for an exceptional salesperson to join our team to lead our sales efforts.  You'll join a strong founding team with deep knowledge and expertise in the enterprise computing space backed by supportive, experienced investors.  

This is a unique opportunity to join a young company that has found product/market fit. We have seen high trial conversion rates, short deal cycles and strong NPS scores from our initial customers.  Now we need an outstanding salesperson to drive growth, identify opportunities and refine our sales processes. We're looking for someone who is creative, ambitious and wants to grow with us as we scale.   

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of direct sales experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota expectations
  • Problem solver who can flourish in ambiguous situations 
  • Empathetic regarding customer challenges and pain points
  • Ability to craft appropriate messaging and strategically position the product
  • Analytical ability and reasoning
  • Organized, structured and process oriented 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious regarding technology and Cloud computing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to software engineering teams
  • Technical background a plus
