We are seeking an experienced, technical-oriented Account Director to drive the use and adoption of our product in support of increased revenue goals and customer success within a key named account.
As an Account Director, you will participate in all phases of a client’s lifecycle – from pre-sales to software implementations, to continued adoption and revenue growth. You will be directly responsible for one of our top clients including professional services engagements, upsell opportunities and driving adoption of our solution. The primary goal is building successful client relationships and delivering key value to our customers.
You will be an effective leader with a proven track record of growing Telecom and/or SaaS clients. You will rely on a highly customer-focused attitude, technical knowledge, and proven record of successfully managing relationships to ensure long-term client satisfaction and revenue growth. Demonstrated experience in managing and growing large, complex accounts is a must.
What you will do:
Work with our key client and establish yourself as the one central point of contact for all their needs
Collaborate with cross functional teams to oversee the delivery of successful solutions
Work with the both the management and technical levels of the client, including ensuring engagement projects are proceeding to plan
Work to meet revenue goals while maintaining account wellness
Help to identify new opportunities for the company’s offerings and be part of the team that closes those opportunities, turning leads into opportunities into new revenue
Constant focus on customer satisfaction and growth, finding win-win and innovative solutions that work for all parties
What you need to be successful:
7+ years of relevant technical Account Management/Director experience
Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients for a major vendor; preferably as an Account Director for a large, complex account
Proven ability to understand and navigate a large, complex organization and build strong, high-quality relationships at multiple levels, within multiple functional areas (IT, marketing, sales, etc.)
Demonstrated experience and success selling software-based solutions to a technical audience. Must be passionate about the benefits of SaaS and be able to use solution selling skills in securing deals
You understand the basic elements and building blocks of a SaaS or related technology solution. Prior knowledge of Telcom B2B solutions is a plus
Clear and confident communication skills are required for telephone, written and face-to-face settings
Independent, successful self-starter
