HR Coordinator at Remitly

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks reporting into the  Head of International HR, providing support to our  Cork , London , Krakow and wider International teams. In this unique role, you will serve our  employees, You will help to ensure our HR data is accurate, our practices are compliant with laws and regulations, and our team members have the day-to-day support they need. 

Responsibilities:

  • Organise, compile, and update company personnel records and documentation.
  • Provide periodic reporting to stakeholders to help leaders make data-driven decisions.
  • Perform monthly benefits reconciliation
  • Build and maintain HR process documentation, for both HR and employee use.
  • Respond to external employment verifications. 
  • Resolve HR-related questions from employees, escalating as necessary.
  • Make changes to employee data in our HRIS.
  • Assist with employee on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Assist with New Starter Orientation Presentation  and drive scheduling as required 
  • Process HR-related invoices.
  • Support annual HR processes, such as performance review cycles, employee engagement surveys, and benefits enrolment.
  • Assist with recruitment activities
  • Carry out Right To Work Checks and maintain relevant documentation
  • General HR administration duties 

Projects: 

  • Lead audit to ensure we have accurate and unexpired immigration documentation for our International  team.
  • Employee personal file audit 
  • Employee Handbook review / implementation and maintenance 
  • Assist with due diligence for new 2021 Immigration changes for those affected 
  • Carry out the annual employee benefits review and recommendations for improvement 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A commitment to providing great customer service; previous experience in a service role is a plus.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills.
  • A strong sense of integrity.
  • The drive to begin their career in the new, global world of HR.
  • Desirable  - Experience working within HR 
  • Desirable -  Holds CIPD qualification level 3 or similar or willing to work towards
