Lead, Print Shop Operations at Boundless
Las Vegas, NV, US

Our print shop team manages a high volume of printing needs and shipping logistics including the printing, packaging, scanning, and final shipment of immigration applications. Both teams work across our two brands, Boundless and Rapid Visa, ensuring best-in-class customer service on tight deadlines.

Job Description:

The Print Shop Lead will work out of our Las Vegas operations HQ and build a team of Print Shop Associates as we scale. Print shop manages a variety of administrative and assembly tasks across Rapid Visa and Boundless, but each brand has differing needs. We will look to this individual to set new standards for workflows and develop methods for collecting and reporting on customer feedback, all while keeping cost and efficiency a priority. 

For Rapid Visa, this role will take on ownership of the scanning of petitions to send to remote colleagues and/or to our attorney network for review. In addition, as customers provide updated or missing documents throughout the QA process, this role handles printing and organization, making sure we’ve compiled all updates in order to pass them to our QA team for review and final packaging. The Rapid Visa brand handles the shipping of all customer petitions directly to the USCIS.

For Boundless, this role will take ownership of the printing and assembly of completed immigration applications post-QA review. Print Shop will follow Boundless brand standards to assemble petitions so they are easy to walk through and the customer understands their final required steps. Boundless final petitions are shipped directly to the customer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing tight turnaround times on scanning tasks for both employees and Attorney needs 
  • Manage final printing, assembly, and packaging of all Boundless petitions
  • Manage Print Shop progress towards hitting cost, SLA and CSAT goals
  • Hire Print Shop Associates according to capacity needs and own the training of new employees
  • Own vendor relationships with our printer suppliers, solving maintenance related issues quickly, and making recommendations to improve our equipment as needed
  • Partner with design, product and operations as we continue to improve on our final product, tracking and reporting out on CSAT from customers.
  • Act as the main point of contact with USPS, Fedex, DHL, UPS, etc. and manage mail related tasks and issues as they arise
  • Own Print Shop inventory management, keeping stock of inventory needs and staying in-line with budget
  • Use Adobe Illustrator as need to update existing customer instructions with any impactful government changes

Skills & Experience:  

  • Ability to use independent judgment, strong awareness and insight into problems as they occur, ability to respond and follow up in an expeditious manner
  • Prior experience managing people in administrative roles, handling training and delegation of tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong history of success in administrative roles that require quick turnaround
  • Prior experience working with and troubleshooting high volume printers is a plus
