Product Manager - Content at Ripl

As owner of our Content Creation line-of-business, our Product Manager is key to that mission, in identifying, prioritizing and executing on product enhancements and new features, creating stand-out social media content simpler and more effective for our customers. Working closely with our engineers, UI/UX designers and QA you will lead our effort to ensure that we are delivering quality features, that grow our business and help our customers grow theirs.

  • You have experience in content creation, design tools or graphic design
  • You find joy in the loop of creation, critical assessment, building, managing and continually improving our service
  • You have a strong understanding of social media platforms and marketing
  • You can envision user flows and create product requirement documents for the UX and development teams
  • You work well in a collaborative environment where the best ideas win regardless of origin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities based on an assessment of industry trends, competitive research, customer needs and pain points
  • Create a prioritized list of recommended projects and/or features
  • Create Product Requirements Documents for the highest-priority opportunities
  • Work with the Design/UX, development and QA teams on feature costing
  • Dive into the data, understanding what’s working and what’s not, building dashboards and reporting on performance
  • Create milestone plans and lead weekly sprints
  • Work with Marketing to define the Go-To-Market announcements needed to generate customer awareness
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate: keep your team updated (and motivated!) on the feature’s performance across KPIs

  • Use your experience in Machine Learning, especially in consumer facing applications, to inform new features

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Several years experience in business, marketing, UX, or a technology- related field
  • Product Management, Product marketing or Design experience (social media or marketing content), or equivalent experience in customer-facing app(s) and/or ecommerce
  • A proven track record of delivering successful projects in an iterative development process, from inception through to launch
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Strong sense of UX across mobile and web
  • Experience building community features
  • Strong data analysis skills, leveraging Mobile and e-commerce tools such as Apptimize, Amplitude, Facebook Analytics, Stripe
