Job Description

Lookout is looking for a college student interested in gaining experience working on a fast-paced marketing team. This person will be working closely with the product marketing team members on content development, competitive intelligence research, and sales enablement initiatives.

This is a paid internship with a commitment of at least six months. We’re looking for someone who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the product marketing team on a range of initiatives
  • Create external and internal content (marketing collateral / sales collateral / blog posts)
  • Brief the team on cybersecurity trends and competitive intel
  • Assist in developing creative presentations for webinars and the sales team
  • Actively monitor inbound PR requests and help procure rapid responses
  • Help develop product demo videos by drafting scripts and using video editing software 

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, creative writing or journalism
  • Strong interest in information technology, cybersecurity and business/marketing
  • Concise, engaging and creative writer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Knowledgeable about LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Familiar with public relations or journalism best practices (e.g., AP Style)

Bonus points:

  • Ability to create multimedia assets, such as audio, video and graphics
  • Experienced in working with content management systems
  • Experience in cybersecurity
  • Competitive hourly rate
