Senior Marketing Copywriter at Boundless

Are you a conversational, collaborative writer? Can you translate complex processes and jargon into clear, human-first,  narrative experiences? Are you excited by the idea of helping immigrants navigate the immigration process more confidently and affordably?

Boundless Immigration is looking for a Senior Marketing Copywriter to join our growth team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to continually evolve our brand messaging, voice, and tone, and write copy across all touch points (digital ad copy, editorial content, marketing copy, newsletter, product launches, CTA tests throughout editorial content, and more). The right writer thrives in an environment where juggling multiple priorities at once is standard, and testing and validating assumptions is part of the writing process.

We’re a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled with our own journeys through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. That is why we are building deeply customer-centric products and experiences to become the default trusted partner for all families through their entire immigration journey and their first ten years of life in a new country. 

In 2020, Boundless acquired RapidVisa to become the largest player in the family immigration industry, helping tens of thousands of families every year achieve their dreams. After four years of policy headwinds, we are at an inflection point, projecting to grow 3-4x every year through the Biden administration and to become the first brand in an industry that has never had one before.

Who you are 

As a Senior Marketing copywriter, you’re collaborative, eager to develop a deep understanding of the complex immigratin system in the U.S., and the unique challenges the families who have to navigate it face along the way. You are comfortable thinking strategically to solve problems, and your super power is your ability to distill complex information into meaningful, personal copy. You can write ads, landing page copy, CTA’s, and blog content. You can adjust the nuance of your writing to their respective channels, all while staying on brand. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Write copy across marketing channels – ensuring consistency, brand voice, and best practices for every channel
  • Conduct project research from a creative and brand perspective.
  • Craft product positioning across online channels, collaborating with the product team, sales team, and paid marketing team to align brand positioning across multiple touch points. 
  • Understand the customer journeys of various brand personas, across multiple products and create copy and content that helps them start and end their immigration journey with Boundless. 
  • Partner with growth marketing team to test and continually optimize new copy and ad ideas on an ongoing basis across to determine what performs best
  • Write editorial content / blog articles relating to our products through a marketing lens
  • Build demographic content / marketing hubs - with specified content for geographic and behavioral demographics - including blog copy, landing page copy, ad copy, video scripts, and more. 
  • Strategize with marketing to build personalized, persona driven, CTA library to use across all resource content
  • Partner with the product team to improve site storytelling and our narrative strategy, while delivering copy for new landing pages, modules, ongoing tests, and optimizations
  • Champion brand voice and collaborate across the organization to ensure all copy across all departments is representative of the brand

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of copywriting/content experience; prior startup experience preferred
  • You understand of owned, earned, and paid marketing channels
  • You’re a clear, concise writer who can distill complex ideas into easily understood language.
  • You can apply strategic thinking to creative problem solving
  • You want to nurture and mentor junior writers, providing direction and constructive feedback
  • You can think, write, and act fast -- to allow for real-time testing, learning, and rapid iterations. 
  • You have an innate sense of ownership and accountability
  • You are proactive and collaborative; you love working with teams and your team likes working with you 
  • You can juggle multiple creative projects simultaneously 
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus!
