Motivation

Comet has an opening for a motivated and self-directed Head of Growth that will lead and own the strategy around user acquisition and growth of the company. 

This includes expanding Comet’s footprint across the US and globally, through meaningful strategies and partnerships. This role will be building the ground that leads to long-term growth and being a key in driving differentiation in this channel across the US.

In particular, we're looking for someone that is data-oriented and has prior growth experience. It's not a must to have held a product manager position before, but it's preferable. Having founded your own startup is a plus.

This role is remote and is ideal for someone that can execute while driving strategy, and has experience and expertise in both, driving enterprise B2B SaaS/software growth for a technical product.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead Comet user acquisition, activation, and retention
  • Using data and analytics for decision making and measuring marketing effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth.
  • collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, product management, operations, and marketing.
  • Creating and implementing the growth plan in line with overall business objectives while striking a balance between longer-term strategic brand-building activities, mid-term lead generation, and nurturing, as well as quick wins to achieve targets
  • Building win-win relationships with new and existing partners

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a leadership role within marketing and proven experience driving the growth of large-scale SaaS products. 
  • Demonstrated passion for driving developer adoption, engagement, and retention of products/services through breakthrough marketing strategies and campaigns. We are looking for individuals with demonstrated repeat business growth or exit successes in high-profile startups.
  • Ability and desire to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • Technical background is a plus
