Senior Product Manager at Remitly

The Role:

The International Product team at Remitly is creating a world-class, seamless, cross-channel customer experience.  From the first time a customer onboards, to the moment they transact securely.

As a Senior Product Manager on the International Product team, you will run the conversion funnel for our International markets in Europe and Asia-Pacific, working with the US team. Your goal is to improve healthy customer acquisition, provide an effortless customer-centric experience and increase brand loyalty through measurable outcomes and obsessive attention to our customer needs.

You will build a test-and-learn virtuous cycle by using quantitative data, previous experiments, qualitative research and observations of our customer to construct testable hypotheses that result in customer-led outcomes. You will partner with our business management team, engineers, designers and other product managers to decide marketing and product experiences to test those hypotheses and achieve exponential value to our customers, both locally and globally.

The candidate:

You have experience leading product teams and you will have experience solving complex customer problems and delivering value to market. You take a customer-centric point of view, using qualitative insights and quantitative data to uncover customer pain-points and you partner across product, engineering and marketing to create agreement, establish clear product requirements and iterate with designers to develop great experiences. You complete projects in a measurable, transparent and accountable way and you and help the team at every step and manage important internal partners, with ease, along the way.

What you should possess:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in product management with at least 5 years experience building consumer-facing products
  • You're motivated by creating a meaningful impact for our customers and business
  • You have experience building products tuned for mobile platforms
  • You embrace an analytical and metrics driven approach to product delivery
  • You break down questions methodically to find solutions
  • You're able to work with engineers to make tough technical tradeoffs and you can sweat the details to understand the impacts of these tradeoffs and find a careful balance between short-term outcomes and long-term effects.
  • You're excited to take on a variety of tasks to help your product and team be successful
