Motivation

As our Head of Enterprise Sales, you will build and scale a market leading global enterprise sales team. You are an adept coach, team builder with a proven track record scaling enterprise sales teams. As a seller you are cable of capable of engaging in both technical and business conversations at multiple levels of the organization, including CTO, VP of AI, Managers of AI, and all types of Data Scientist. You enjoy bringing your product and technical knowledge to bear when articulating our business proposition, and your analytical nature means you bias towards winning business by showing how a client’s business model benefits from partnering with Comet. You thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment, enjoy collaborating with similarly driven colleagues to make the company a success, and are always looking for opportunities to add value and level up the business.

 

You will:

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent providing career development and performance management so that at least 75% exceed quota and we experience no more than 10% regrettable attrition
  • Build a strong cross-functional operating cadence with teams around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, execution, deployment and revenue realization • Partner with cross-functional teams (Renewals, Customer Success, BD, and Marketing) on strategy and execution to drive adoption, increase productivity, and reduce/eliminate customer churn

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • 6+ years experience in enterprise AE management, preferably at an API or enterprise software company
  • 3+ years closing annual contracts of at least $100k/year, and handling yearly team quotas of $10mm+
  • Strong technical background
  • Ability to understand the Comet.ml and scale current world class sales process 
  • Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and scaling world class enterprise sales teams 
  • Proven track record of scaling scaling global enterprise AE teams from 3 to 10+  
  • Proven track record closing multi year seven figure deals

Nice to haves:

  • A technical background or formal data science training
  • Prior experience selling to data science teams

This role will be fully remote or based in New York City. Also, you will be working with a global team (large presence in Tel Aviv and Europe) – so some flexibility with work hours is required.
