Overview of Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and consultation, answering manager questions about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.

  • Support all India HR programs, policies and compliance processes.

  • Anticipate and respond to employee relations concerns. Identifies potential problem areas and works with managers to take specific actions to mitigate.

  • Coach managers in performance issues and provide resolution recommendations.

    • Drive performance management actions across all India organisations, ensuring that employees receive accurate and timely performance feedback. Influence managers to take appropriate and consistent performance management actions to deal with performance deficiencies in the workforce. Ensure that specific & actionable objectives are set and monitored.

  • Works with HR partners and managers to deliver programs that are aligned with global policies and meet local needs.

  • Consults with managers and human resources leaders to identify program needs specific to India and implement if appropriate.

  • Manages the delivery of multiple programs simultaneously across a given geography.

  • Support cyclical HR programs around performance management, compensation planning, employment engagement surveys. 

  • Design and implement company policies that may be needed in India

  • Conduct exit interviews as needed and leverage feedback to put together themes and recommendations for managers and leaders.

  • Provide career guidance and coaching to individuals and managers. 

  • Continually evaluate effectiveness of existing HR processes and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements. 

  • Maintain an understanding of regional employment law, and escalate where issues may require external legal advice

  • Ensure compliance with required regulations, policies, and laws related to Human Resources activities

  • Rollout programs and training on specific topics as needed

  • Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting and other tasks as required
