Creative Director at Ripl
Seattle, WA, US

Ripl (www.Ripl.com) is passionate about helping small businesses grow by empowering them to quickly create beautiful, branded content social media marketing campaigns and easily turn these into paid ads.

In this role, you will report directly to our CEO and drive Ripl’s look and feel across its brand, marketing and content efforts. You will produce elevated levels of engagement and value for our customers by overseeing and inspiring the work of the Sr. Manager of Content and team as they create and merchandize content templates for Ripl’s customers. Leveraging your passion for social media marketing, you will have the unique opportunity to go deep into the realms of your analytical, creative and intuitive mind to serve the customers in our community and help them tell their unique brand stories.

  • You have been a thought leader in building brands
  • You are a player/coach, who can set strategy and roll up their sleeves to help things get done
  • You can quickly develop strategy and execution plans for low-hanging fruit while bringing vision of future trends
  • You know how to help small businesses tell their stories because you have worked across a variety of businesses, and understand what principles apply to most marketing efforts
  • You create strong visual presentations and assets
  • You have a track record of innovation with content and a knack for creating social engagement
  • You can create a content and brand strategy collaboratively with engineering and marketing teams
  • You are flexible, resourceful, collaborative and can pivot on a dime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Ripl’s content templates are impactful for our customers and of the highest level of craft and execution
  • Partnering with Marketing to craft a brand strategy that conveys the values and positioning of Ripl consistently across our content and marketing efforts
  • Creating and executing on content strategies including visual aesthetics and the communication of product features to drive adoption and use
  • Providing marketing collateral for new feature launches, advertising and social media marketing campaigns to extend the Ripl brand
  • Pitching concepts and guiding the ideas of others into meaningful creative content
  • Leveraging your passion for online marketing trends to create new content formats that drive deep customer engagement
  • Managing and coaching our content and visual design teams, rolling up your sleeves to pitch in as needed.

  • Create compelling marketing assets that reduces our cost of acquisition and increases engagement rates for existing subscribers

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Multi-faceted portfolio representing quality work in social media, advertising, product launches, UI/UX and branding
  • Solid experience leading creative teams in ship successful marketing collateral
  • Contributed to measurable audience growth for company/clients
  • Team leadership and development, overseeing teams of five people or more
  • Love of coaching, developing people on your team, modeling accountability and a proactive, solution-oriented workstyle
  • Love of small, nimble and collaborative work environments
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams
  • Customer empathy is a strong suit
  • Fail fast and iterate with accumulated wisdom
