Product Manager - Advertising at Ripl
Seattle, WA, US

Ripl (www.Ripl.com) is passionate about helping small businesses grow by empowering them to quickly create beautiful, branded content social media marketing campaigns and easily turn these into paid ads.

As owner of our Advertising line-of-business, our Product Manager is key to that mission, in identifying, prioritizing and executing on product enhancements and new features, making running paid ads simpler and more effective for our customers. Working closely with our engineers, UI/UX designers and QA you will lead our effort to ensure that we are delivering quality features, that grow our business and help our customers grow theirs.

  • You love the thrill of new software delivery and the variety of working on several active projects simultaneously
  • You have experience in performance advertising or AdTech
  • You find joy in the loop of creation, critical assessment, building, managing and continually improving our service
  • You can read other companies' API documentation and identify the integration opportunities
  • You can envision user flows and create product requirement documents for the UX and development teams
  • You work well in a collaborative environment where the best ideas win regardless of origin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities based on an assessment of industry trends, competitive research, customer needs and pain points
  • Own the prioritized list of recommended initiatives and features
  • Create Product Requirements Documents for the highest-priority opportunities
  • Work with the Design/UX, development and QA teams on feature costing
  • Dive into the data, understanding what’s working and what’s not, building dashboards and reporting on performance
  • Create milestone plans and lead weekly sprints
  • Work with Marketing to define the Go-To-Market announcements needed to generate customer awareness
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate: keep your team updated (and motivated!) on the feature’s performance across KPIs

  • Use your experience in Machine Learning, especially in consumer facing applications, to inform new features

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Several years experience in business, marketing, UX, or a technology- related field
  • Product Management or Performance Advertising experience (paid social and search), or equivalent experience in customer-facing app(s) and/or ecommerce
  • Experience using FB Ads Manager
  • A proven track record of delivering successful projects in an iterative development process, from inception through to testing and launch
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Strong sense of UX across mobile and web
  • Experience building community features
  • Strong data analysis skills, leveraging Mobile and e-commerce tools such as Apptimize, Amplitude, Mode, Facebook Analytics, Stripe
