Boundless is a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. We are building customer-centric experiences to dramatically simplify it, becoming the default partner for all families through their entire immigration journey and their first ten years of life in a new country. 

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to expand the number of customers Boundless serves and dramatically improve our service. To do so, you’ll work closely with a product manager and a team of engineers to develop a long term strategy and short term tactics. You’ll also help us develop what it means to build product at Boundless through a culture of feedback, kindness, and a deep desire to be our best selves.

In this role, you will:

• Explore the complexities of immigration space in order to dramatically simplify it
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to solve customer problems
• Explore a broad set of ideas, while knowing when to execute your vision to
• Advocate for your designs with a well-informed point of view to cross-functional partners
• Support engineers with design rationale and assets in the development process
• Work with a team of designers and engineers to expand and evolve our design system
• Design solutions that further our brand across digital interfaces and print 

We are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as a designer in the digital product space
• A portfolio that shows your proclivity towards simple and intuitive user experiences
• High-caliber product design skills, with a deep understanding of user experience design, interaction modeling, typography, composition, and layout principles
• Intimate knowledge of current digital design tools and methodologies
• Experience conceiving and iterating on features based on research, data, and strategy
• A strong collaborator and communicator with designers and non-designers alike
