Motivation:

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Head of Marketing Operations & Analytics will possess a natural curiosity, be a creative problem solver, help connect the dots, and is eager to understand and engage across functions at Comet. This role will focus on operational best practices, marketing analytics, project management, and communications. The Head of Marketing Operations & Analytics is an action oriented, strategic thinker who has a passion for detailed marketing execution and analysis. This role works cross-functionally with our Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations teams as we scale to achieve operational excellence and deliver results.

Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally to help develop a vision for analytics architecture, predictive models, and dashboard/reporting strategy.
  • Lead the marketing analytics strategy and execution to generate impactful business insights to improve marketing programs and tools.
  • Oversee the evolution of measurement framework to empower campaign execution, demand capture, product led growth, and spend allocation decisions.
  • Generate and analyze marketing reporting and dashboards to develop insights and recommendations to optimize Marketing strategy and program execution.
  • Regularly report KPIs and campaign performance back to the business.
  • Lead key operational initiatives to gain efficiencies and improve performance across our end-to-end process.
  • Lead key communications, reporting and escalation to help drive accountability across Marketing functions.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, Product and Sales Operations teams to manage integration strategy across systems to build efficiency across Sales/Marketing programs and to provide transparency into program performance.
  • Support maintaining data integrity end-to-end across Marketing and Go-to-Marketing systems and infrastructure, and develop and deliver operational reports.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in Marketing Operations, Growth Ops, or related field  
  • Demonstrated experience with performance marketing and marketing operations
  • Demonstrated experience using data to inform decision making & strategy planning
  • Experience with modern analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Metabase)
  • Deep understanding of demand generation, product lead growth, lead lifecycle, lead nurturing and lead management.
  • Experience using sales and marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, Marketo, Terminus) and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Excellent marketing project management skills to allow for timely planning, executing and reporting on multiple marketing projects simultaneously

This role will be fully remote or based in New York City and working with a global team (large presence in Tel Aviv and Europe).
