Global Visual Merchandising Lead at Owlet Baby Care

SUMMARY: Owlet Baby Care is seeking a Global Visual Merchandising Lead, reporting to the Sr. Director of Retail Partner Marketing, to drive in-store visual merchandising and store operations for our growing portfolio of retail partners across the globe. You will own high-level strategy and manage execution. This will require extensive experience in building and executing in-store POP display strategy (from initial concept through the entire lifecycle of the display). This role will also be responsible for sales associate training programs, assisted selling programs,  retailer events, and in-store readiness during key drive-times (launches, promotions, holidays). You will provide performance reporting on all in-store programs, and will leverage learnings/insights for future programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and ability to work cross functionally, with internal and external partners, to ensure all in-store programs are executed seamlessly and provide the Owlet customer with best in-class shopping experiences. While the role is primarily focused on North America, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency across the globe, in partnership with the in-market international Owlet teams. 


  • Develop, lead and execute in-store merchandising strategy
  • Develop and own the global visual merchandising display playbook
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at Owlet’s US & Canadian Retail and agency partners
  • Build and optimize system, process and standards that improve visual merchandising program execution efficiency
  • Manage the store operations budget and provide proactive recommendations for cost savings and other optimizations
  • Develop and lead on-going reporting for all in-store programs, providing recommendations for optimization


  • 7+ years experience in retail channel marketing, visual merchandising, retail fixture development, or similar retail store operations
  • Experience managing 3P labor / field teams, other retail agencies
  • Extensive experience supporting the full product life cycle at brick n’ mortar retail, preferably for consumer electronics products in national retailers such as Target, BuyBuyBABY, Best Buy, and Walmart
  • Strong communication skills across all platforms and to varying levels of internal and external executives, retail partners and cross functional teams (sales, marketing, creative, finance, logistics, operations)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills 
  • Data and execution focused with confidence in identifying the correct KPIs and reporting to leadership
  • Bachelor’s Degree in or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally


  • Experience working in the consumer technology space
  • Strength in communication and collaboration across organizational boundaries to define, manage and prioritize work.
