Sr. Lead Product Designer at Lookout
Remote / United States of America

Responsibilities

  • Breakdown business objectives into design initiatives and lead through major design EPICs/programs. 
  • Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers and marketers to oversee the domain product experience to make sure it is cohesive and scalable.
  • Drive user engagement, experience iteration, and design strategies as a domain expert. 
  • Solve unique and complex product challenges with intuitive and future proof product design solutions at a large scale. 
  • Work with PM and researcher to find opportunities, validate concepts and articulate design strategies for new products and features.
  • Practice end-to-end design thinking process and build workflows, wireframes and mockups to deliver the vision. 
  • Communicate design goals, user needs, design rationale to project stakeholders, including Product managers and Engineering teams. 
  • Co-lead platform design system in consideration of visual consistency, accessibility compliance, scalability. 
  • Build design process to champion user experience value and best practices.
  • Promote a design culture within the company by clearly articulating design thinking in your speaking, writing, and working.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product design experience
  • BA/BS in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant work experience in Cybersecurity industry or data-driven web management platforms.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale projects involving strategy building, envisioning, incremental delivering and direction steering. 
  • Strong portfolio including self-started projects and excellent design execution. 
  • Fantastic product, interaction and visual design skills, including the wisdom to move between various levels of fidelity as needed
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain your design decisions
  • Proficiency with Figma
  • Prototyping knowledge
  • Experience working on Design System
