About the Role:

The Endpoint Systems Administrator uses enterprise solutions (such as Kandji and VMware Workspace One) to design and deploy endpoint configurations for operating systems(Android, Chrome OS, iOS, MacOs, and Windows) on all 2000+ physical and virtual computers across Remitly. You will work directly with several teams, including internal/external(vendors) IT staff to provide solutions for a new operating systems or software implementations and to address issues related to existing operating systems used by all of the Remitly employees in the physical and/or virtual classroom, computer lab, or office.

You Will:

  • You will report to the IT Manager, IT Infrastructure.
  • Perform operating system and application software implementation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Create software packages using enterprise software deployment tools, tailored to the needs of each job family.
  • Use automation to replace repetitive administration tasks by developing scripts, policies, profiles, maintenance groups/collections, and other tools.
  • Maintain security best practices for the protection, security, and privacy of all Remitly physical or virtual computing systems, including mobile devices. Escalate security issues to the security team if necessary.
  • Create documentation and knowledge base articles to record procedures used to implement solutions. Provide instruction in person or remotely for other IT staff on software and operating system deployment.
  • Be a subject matter expert for escalated technical issues or complex use cases related to the operating system and software deployments.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a systems administrator or similar positions
  • Experience with a high-level scripting language (PowerShell, Go, JavaScript).
  • Familiar with endpoint hardening best practices like CIS Benchmark and NIST.
  • Experience with desktop operating system deployment using endpoint management tools such as MECM/SCCM
  • Experience with software application packaging and ongoing deployment. As well as creating custom scripts or programs for Windows and macOS.
