Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a high-energy, creative, detail-oriented and passionate person to join the channel sales organization at Lookout. Reporting to the Director, Americas Channel Sales, you will be responsible for developing and managing our relationship, as well as driving sales with one of our most important enterprise carrier channel partners, Verizon.

Successful candidates will be results-oriented, self-directed and have a strategic orientation balanced with a strong ability to contribute directly to the business we build with this partner. You will have already successfully sold software or services through Verizon. You will have excellent contacts within this partner account and are excited about building them out. You are experienced and skilled in building true partnerships versus vendor relationships, and will be responsible for carrying a target based on the success of this partner. You know how to ensure that your customers' needs and wants are conveyed across the organization, while primarily safeguarding the interests of your own company.

What Will You Do?

  • You will establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders within Verizon’s Sales, Presales, Product and Marketing teams to sell and promote Lookout’s enterprise offerings. 

  • You will be expected to be working with Verizon’s GTM teams to develop and support their end user business. By ensuring that their Sales & Presales teams are properly enabled and supported. You will be responsible for educating and training their Sales & Presales teams to become knowledgeable and become specialists in all aspects of Lookout.

  • You will be responsible for identifying enterprise business for Lookout together with Verizon and making sure our Lookout sales teams are connected with the relevant sales teams of this carrier channel partner. It is your responsibility to ensure follow-ups and keep the momentum. 

  • You will be responsible for working with Verizon’s relevant team to develop and execute a GTM plan 

  • Carrier Partner relationships are key and you will be responsible for creating, nurturing and developing these. You will be an ambassador for theis Carrier partner internally within Lookout, but also making sure Lookout’s best interests are embedded into the partnership.

  • You will implement and manage carrier channel programs at this partner to ensure the appropriate amount of focus on our products and services.

  • You will leverage the provided sales tools to manage relationships, track activities and drive the business

What’s Needed?

  • A solid carrier partner /account manager with excellent relevant experience, strong ties with Verizon and an extremely positive reputation for delivery.

  • 5+ years of working with and managing Verizon as an enterprise channel partner.

  • Ability to develop and grow deep and productive partner relationships.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to boil down complex topics into clear and easily understandable messages.

  • The ability to support the creation of compelling business cases around opportunities.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective programs, optimize efforts and communicate results.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive others. Be able to say “no”, take charge of your accounts, manage all interactions with the accounts.

  • Flawless organizational and follow up skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills.
