Sr Director of Supply Chain at Owlet Baby Care
Lehi, UT, US / Remote

The Sr Director of Supply Chain will lead strategy, goal setting, and implementation for Owlet’s world class, global supply chain:

  • Focused on demand and supply planning, logistics, S&OP, and supply chain financial reporting process.
  • Work cross-functionally (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Quality, etc.) to support product commercialization, contract manufacturing, ERP utilization, process development, lead-time optimization efforts, and cost of goods analysis
  • Manage a nationally dispersed Operations team - six direct reports representing Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sales Ops, and Warehousing/Logistics
  • Drive improvements in efficiencies, processes, and structure


REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer (COO)



  • Responsible for driving long range strategic supply chain processes and capacities that will enable cost effective corporate growth through improving service levels to Owlet’s global customers and business
  • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of supply chain activities (i.e., inventory, 3PL activity, etc.) in support of monthly and quarterly close
  • Manages demand planning and forecasting for production scheduling and purchasing to ensure an uninterrupted supply of products for global customers
  • Will play a key role in identifying, implementing and integrating systems, solutions, and processes so as to improve business and operational processes, reduce costs, improve business KPIs, and achieve SOX compliance
  • Evaluate supply chain performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics
  • Lead organization in monthly S&OP process
  • Lead CPFR process with key retailers to validate forecasts
  • Lead planning and execution to support supply chain development for new product commercialization
  • Develops robust process documentation, work instructions, and records
  • Manage Netsuite ERP and Vanguard Demand Planning utilization for Supply Chain functions and process improvements


  • Proactive leader willing to break paradigms and work creatively
  • Forward thinker and self-starter who can follow directions but will also go the extra step
  • Proven track record in managing supply chain and logistics in contract manufacturing businesses
  • Broad understanding of business, consumer electronics product development and contract manufacturing; experience in medical devices a plus
  • Skilled in the use of ERP systems (NetSuite Preferred)
  • Proven leadership track record and history of managing internal and external resources for exceptional results.
  • Team oriented with refined leadership, management, coaching, and interpersonal skills (executive presence)
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments, updated product requirements, and dynamic iteration
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proven ability to multi-task and think critically
  • Able to manage time effectively and have strong work and personal code of ethics
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • Undergraduate degree in relevant area; advanced degrees welcome
  • 7-10 years of experience - supply chain and sales operations
