Business Intelligence Analyst at Ripl

In this newly created role within Ripl’s product team, you will leverage your insatiable curiosity and data analytics skills to meaningfully move the dial with our product. We have data; we need you to dig, dice and slice, to develop a keen understanding of what our customers really like and want. You will be key in shaping strategies to improve Ripl’s marketing to our small business customers and, in helping our small business customers market their products and services more effectively. Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze large volumes of raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations to help build meaningful KPI’s
  • Solve key business questions by conducting deep dive analysis to identify current trends and project upcoming trends in the dynamic and ever-changing social media advertising landscape
  • Provide a comprehensive view of customer success
  • Help build strategies to support recommendation, personalization and automation initiatives
  • Work closely with Creative and Engineering teams as a thought-partner, for improved decision-making and optimized business outcomes
  • Streamline KPI and Dashboard reporting
  • Encourage innovation and experimentation
  • Always look for the ‘why’


Looking to knock it out of the park?

  • Some experience or interest in user research, e.g. creating and running user studies and surveys, conjoint analysis on user feedback


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and drive iteration toward larger business goals and objectives
  • Experience building out a scalable BI framework to present fresh and relevant data to drive product improvements for customers
  • An eye for noticing trends and deviations, and the curiosity to determine why
  • You have experience in creating UA strategies (and if we’re really lucky - propensity models) and have deep experience with campaigns on Facebook and a variety of other channels
  • Solid experience with Amplitude or other similar tools, and SQL
  • Excellent project management skills to handle larger quarterly projects in addition to smaller or seasonal time-sensitive needs
  • Bachelors’ in Business, Analytics, CS, or related field; you work quite independently in your current role and are comfortable presenting your findings to company leadership. OR, an MBA in a related field, with relevant internships and the proven ability to take ownership of metrics, support and defend recommendations, while working proactively to continue adding skills to your toolkit
