Marketing Data Analyst at Educative

Educative is looking for a Data Analyst to help drive sustained growth in our B2B and B2C SaaS subscription business. You will collaborate primarily with marketing, but also with product management, engineering, and executive leadership. As a key early member of the Analytics team, you will play a critical role in influencing how Educative measures its performance and makes data-driven decisions to reach the next million developers worldwide. 

Responsibilities

    • Analyze marketing funnel metrics, performance and customer intent to uncover effective channels and make data-driven recommendations steps to optimize campaign performance and revenue.
    • Measure ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns.
    • Create dashboards and report on marketing KPIs including leads, conversion rates, website traffic, user engagement, and email campaigns.
    • Be a trusted advisor to senior leaders to make strategic decisions to measure the health of the business and grow revenue
    • Build attribution models to measure the most effective sales and marketing that drive growth.
    • Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data.
    • Merge and query data from multiple platforms including Hubspot, and BigQuery utilizing SQL queries.
    • Ingest data from different sources and streamline them into clear and concise reports.

Qualifications

    • 2-3 years work experience as a Marketing or Data Analyst or similar role
    • 2-3 years writing queries with SQL
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI
    • Expertise in Google Analytics
    • Hubspot experience a plus
    • In-depth understanding of SEM campaign strategies and SEO practices
    • Working knowledge of PPC campaigns
    • Understanding of different revenue attribution models
    • Analytical, self-driven, owns problems, and delivers results
    • Ability to work in ambiguity
