Senior Data Analyst, Implementations at Falkon AI

  • Understanding what marketing/sales tactics are working and what are not
  • Understanding what content is leading to activated, converted and engaged customers
  • Understanding where the sales pipeline is coming from - and what revenue is forecasted for the month and quarter
  • Understanding what rep behaviors are truly making a difference to the sales pipeline
  • Understanding whether the company is on track on meet its revenue targets, and drill down into issues that are holding back revenue
  • Targeting the most likely candidate customers for deal expansion

Our team consists of product, engineering and research veterans from Microsoft, Amazon, Dropbox, Amperity and Zulily.

We are looking for a results-oriented data analyst with prior experience support sales and revenue teams to join Falkon's implementation team and help us deliver the platform to our customers. The day-to-day work includes:

  • Performing data validation - ensuring data in Falkon matches data in customer's systems
  • Writing SQL queries to model specific customer requests
  • Validating implementations and finding/fixing bugs in SQL queries and data transforms
  • Supporting the CSM team in responding to ongoing customer requests for new metrics and reports.
  • Making improvements to existing metrics, reports, data transforms and SQL queries
  • Building custom or personalized reports and presentations to support customer engagement

What you will do

  • Partner with CSM to implement customer tenants and respond to customer requests
  • Lead the quality assurance components of the implementation cycle and partner closely with customer stakeholders to track down data-related questions
  • Debug/fix problems in SQL queries and data models
  • Validate customer implementations for data correctness
  • Power new capabilities by prototyping custom analyses and metrics for our customers
  • Help shape Falkon's culture, and build the workplace of your dreams.

What you will need to succeed

  • 2+ years working in a sales/revenue operations or analyst role
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Prior experience with Salesforce reporting and familiarity with B2B SaaS sales processes
  • Prior experience with data analysis tools, such as Tableau, Python, or Power BI
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in driving high quality customer experiences through effective data validation
  • Ability to work on customer-facing projects, delivering data implementations on a deadline
  • A willingness to put in the hard work it takes to make a startup successful.

Very nice-to-haves:

  • Prior experience with Marketing platforms such as Hubspot or Marketo
  • Expert SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing
  • 1+ year in a customer-facing role
  • Prior experience at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience working with data ingestion/processing pipelines.
