Senior Product Manager at Ripl
Seattle, WA, US / Onsite/Remote

Ripl (www.Ripl.com) is passionate about helping small businesses grow by empowering them to quickly create beautiful, branded content for social media marketing campaigns. As our Sr. Product Manager, you will have high visibility and impact. You will work very closely with senior leadership in identifying, prioritizing and executing on product enhancements and new features, making stand-out social media content simpler and more effective for our customers. Working closely with our engineers, UI/UX designers and QA you will lead our effort to ensure that we are delivering quality features, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities based on an assessment of industry trends, competitive research, customer needs and pain points: you understand the customer inside-out
  • Create a prioritized list of recommended projects and/or features
  • Create Product Requirements Documents for the highest-priority opportunities
  • Stay ahead of development, working proactively with the Design/UX, Development and QA teams on feature costing
  • Scope aggressively to quickly deliver incremental value, with customer-facing release timelines measured in days and weeks
  • Dive into the data, understanding what’s working and what’s not, building dashboards and reporting on performance
  • Create milestone plans and lead weekly sprints
  • Work with Marketing to define the Go-To-Market announcements needed to generate customer awareness
  • Dive into our content creation tools and design framework to deliver happiness to our customers
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate: keep your team updated (and motivated!) on the feature’s performance across KPIs

  • Drive innovation for further feature development and capabilities
  • Develop user testing plans with key features, writing surveys and leading customer call downs
  • Devise A/B tests that show significant improvement to key funnel metrics
  • Strong business acumen with experience in SAAS and/or Subscription business models


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Several years experience in business, marketing, UX, or a technology-related field
  • Product Management, Product marketing or Design experience (social media or marketing content), or equivalent experience in customer-facing app(s) and/or ecommerce
  • Resourcefulness and startup ‘scrappy’ workstyle with keen attention to detail
  • Wonderful communication skills with an urgency to communicate early, collaborate and keep everyone in the loop as things evolve
  • A proven track record of delivering successful projects in an iterative development process, from inception through launch
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Strong sense of UX across mobile and web
  • Strong data analysis skills, leveraging Mobile and e-commerce tools such as Apptimize, Amplitude, Facebook Analytics, Stripe
