About the Role:

Remitly is looking for a Senior Stock Plan Administrator to help lead the administration of our global equity programs. Equity awards are a significant component of total compensation at Remitly. Reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards , you will work with many teams across the company including Payroll, Legal, Finance, and HR functions, and will be the expert on global equity award administration.

You Will:

  • Administer all types of global equity plans, including Stock Options and RSUs
  • Process grants, exercises and terminations partnering with HR, Payroll, Legal and Tax, using Board minutes and consents
  • Input equity activity in equity platform and ensure that equity activity is complete and accurate including demographic information
  • Reconcile and support grant, exercise and releases, termination and cancelation activity to ensure plan compliance and accurate financial reporting related to equity compensation matters
  • Prepare compensation committee and board materials related to equity
  • Help with equity plan design and drafting award agreements
  • Collaborate on employee educational materials and resources
  • Manage Stock Administration internal control narratives and testing, including SOX processes and audits
  • Develop process improvements including automation projects for the equity administration process
  • Maintain Process Documentation
  • Ability in explaining complex equity matters to employees
  • Ad hoc projects

You Have:

  • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or related discipline or active CEP certification
  • 5+ years or more of experience in equity administration or equivalent specific related field
  • Experience with company stock ownership and the full cycle of equity transactions
  • Project management, process improvement, and experience working with people at all levels across a large multinational organization
  • Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation
  • Equity administration experience in a public company
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative matters that impact compensation
  • Knowledge of SEC and proxy advisory policies and practices
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and excellent prioritization skills
  • Financial knowledge, as well understanding of tax/accounting/legal/regulatory issues related to executive compensation programs
  • Accuracy in work; ability to do root cause analysis
  • Familiar with Shareworks/Morgan Stanley at Work

Compensation Details: The starting base pay for this position is typically $96,000-$120,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
