Business Manager, Latin America and the Caribbean at Remitly

About the Role:

Remitly's Business Management team is at the core of our global remittance business - accountable for remittance performance across our many regions. Reporting to our Director of Americas Business Management, you will lead the vision, strategy, and direction for the remittance business originating within the Americas and being sent to Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). You will work with partner teams and functional area experts across the company to deliver great outcomes for our customers, while partnering across our global business management team to improve our efficacy and efficiency across our complex business.

You Will:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and direction for the LAC remittance business
  • Accountable for the regional financial performance
  • Guide complex, cross-regional, strategic projects involving collaboration with multiple teams, such as analytics, product, marketing, etc.
  • Build an understanding of the holistic Remitly business and influence the prioritization of partner-teams' roadmaps through structured business impact / customer-centric frameworks
  • Oversee ongoing views about global Remitly customer trends and competition, identifying and deep-diving into problem areas where necessary

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, fintech, or consumer technology sectors
  • Native-level Spanish language fluency and regional business culture fluency
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and strong bias for action - comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Experience with data modeling and using data to make better business decision
  • Proven financial and business acumen
  • Deep experience with stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Higher education in business/quantitative discipline

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $120,000 - $150,210.
