The VP of Marketing will be responsible for driving the GTM and growth of Comet in collaboration with sales and product teams. The VP of Marketing will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, manage budgets and resources, and analyze market data to make informed decisions about dynamic marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns and ABM strategy, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends related techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ABM and PLG marketing strategies and plans that align with the overall business goals of Comet
  • Lead the marketing team to define positioning and messaging, execute campaigns and demand initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Analyze market data to adjust marketing strategy and take data-driven decisions
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize the impact of marketing resources and efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to drive growth and determine effective launch and communications strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new marketing techniques, tools and technologies 
  • Lead the development and execution of content marketing efforts, including email marketing, social media, digital and and blog content
  • Develop strong product positioning and clear narratives
  • Develop demand generation strategy
  • Tackle complex challenges with a strategic mindset, creating and executing thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Work closely with sales and product to refine and optimize the first and last touch points across the funnel with the goal of improving conversion from leads to an active opportunity
  • Drive PR and AR communication by creating PR and AR presence, along with media and Analysts’ interviews / bylines and reports


  • Experience in a SaaS (cloud first) developer tool company
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience working at early or growth stage startups 
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful ABM strategy
  • Experimental mind-set. Ability to test ideas quickly and iterate
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform marketing strategy
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively
  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and technologies
  • Familiarity with content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing
  • Hands-on, get the job done type of person, with a “can do” attitude

This role will be fully remote or based in New York City and working with a global team (large presence in Tel Aviv and Europe).

Base Salary range : $200- 270K
