Principal Product Manager, Finance Data Platform at Remitly

About the Role:

The Finance Data Platform team supports Remitly's mission by building products that ensure the accuracy, auditability, and timeliness of financial data. Our products enable Finance to manage risks, create accurate and timely financial reports, and scale Remitly's business across remittance and new products.

As the Principal Product Manager for the new Finance Data Platform team, you will create the strategy and vision for a cross-product platform that provides Finance with unified data for our millions of customers' transactions, loans, and financial activity. You will accomplish this by working with engineers and internal customers across Treasury, Accounting and Remitly product teams. You will report to the product lead for Finance Products.

You Will:

  • Drive the product strategy and vision for a scalable Finance Data Platform across Remitly's remittance product and new business lines, such as Lending
  • Develop a deep understanding of Finance's needs, and the impact of new product areas on financial data
  • Create a multi-year roadmap for the cross-Finance Data Platform, informed by an understanding of your customer's needs and collaboration with Remitly product teams
  • Be the customer advocate and own the Data Platform's product backlog, create product requirements, and drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Partner with multiple engineering teams to align on goals and ensure we make the right trade-offs between incremental delivery and long-term sustainability
  • Define critical business metrics that measure the impact of the team's products and the data quality they ensure

You Have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • Data analytics skills and experience working with data-heavy products
  • Demonstrated ability creating a product vision & strategy and executing on it across multiple teams
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, or similar

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $153,910 - $202,210. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
